William Louis Maple 1932 - 2010ame
William L. Maple 78, of Decatur passed away early
Monday morning May 3, 2010 at his home.
Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday May
8, 2010 at Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Visitation will be 10
to 11 am. Saturday, in Hidden Valley Community
Church 1635 Huston Drive Decatur, Illinois.
William was born in 1932 in Decatur , the son of
Louis and Cora Maple. He was an A.E. Staley and
Tate & Lyle Retiree. William served in the U.S. Air
Force during the Korean War.
He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Ina B. Maple,
sons, Steve and wife Diane Scales, Rocky and wife
Teri Maple, grandchildren, Chris, Shaun, Jimmy
Scales & Cody Maple, Julie Johnson and Chelsea
Maple, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great
grandchildren, brother, Jack Maple of Mohave
Valley, Arizona., several nieces and nephews.
William will be joined by his beloved daughter
Karen, a brother, a brother-in-law, sister-in-law and
his parents.
